We framed our own path through persistence, long hours, and an unwavering belief that quality, integrity, and relationships would always outlast trends. From day one, our goal has been simple: build a company that people can trust and a reputation that speaks for itself.
Together, James and Keenan bring more than 20 years of combined construction experience, built across residential remodeling, commercial construction, exterior renovations, and custom carpentry. That experience, combined with a shared commitment to doing things the right way, has become the foundation of Delaware Valley Design & Build.
Our Story
Every business has a beginning. Ours is a story of resilience, determination, and two lifelong friends who refused to let go of a dream.
Co-founders James Wilson and Keenan Donnelly have known each other since 1996. Growing up in the same community and attending the same schools through middle school, we always shared the vision of one day building something of our own. In September 2021, after years of hard work, sacrifice, and dedication to our craft, Delaware Valley Design & Build was born.
Since opening our doors, we’ve proudly completed numerous residential and commercial projects throughout Northern Delaware, Southeastern Pennsylvania, and the surrounding region. Whether we’re transforming a family’s home, renovating a commercial space, or bringing a unique vision to life, every project is approached with the same commitment to craftsmanship, professionalism, and integrity.

Keenan Donnelly
Co-FounderKeenan’s experience includes restoring historic barns alongside Amish craftsmen, where he developed a deep appreciation for timeless building techniques, precision, and craftsmanship. Through years of residential and commercial construction, he cultivated an expansive network of trusted industry professionals while helping shape the company’s vision for growth, exceptional customer service, and a standard of quality that clients can depend on.

James developed his expertise working alongside a respected local contractor, mastering virtually every aspect of residential and commercial construction. His meticulous nature and unmatched attention to detail have become a defining characteristic of every project we complete. James believes exceptional craftsmanship isn’t found in what’s obvious—it’s found in the details most people never notice, but everyone appreciates.
